The Fire Department of Mount Horeb prides itself in its involvement within the community.  We will work to post a few of the public events we do.

The Mount Horeb Fire Department is very pleased to continue their relationship with Hellenbrand & Son's Landscaping, Firehouse Bar & Grill and Spring Garden Restaurant.  So far, with the money that has been raised, the FDMH has been able to purchase the much needed boat rescue equipment to better aid us in any water emergency that may occur at Stewart Lake.   We are very appreciative with their kindness.

Hellenbrand & Son's Landscaping has  teamed up with Fire house Bar and Grill, and Spring Garden Family Restaurant, to support the wonderful people at the FDMH and give back to the community we are apart of. It's pretty simple in how it works. Stop out at the 1 of the 2 locations and buy a paver.  The cost of the paver includes the brick, the engraving and money to go to FDMH special rescue fund.  As an added bonus right now with a purchase of a paver you also get 20% off your food at Spring Garden and if you purchase a paver to engrave at the Fire House Bar and Grill you receive a $10.00 gift certificate for food or a nice ice cold beverage of your choice. Better yet if you can't make it out to one of those 2 locations feel free to give them a call and they will be happy to take a credit card donations. You still will receive your gift card for either 20% off or $10.00 gift card. Also if you mention this code number 12345 and call Hellenbrand & Son's Landscaping for your next patio or landscaping need you will receive half off a ornamental Tree. (Only if you purchase a paver) please call Jason at 608-516-9362 to get your next patio or landscaping quote.

Engraving pavers can  be anything you want to say. People use them for memorials, birthdays, jokes, friends, advertisement, and even Veterans Memorials. Which by they way the Fire House Bar and Grill has started a Veterans section on there patio, thanks to Leo the owner of the Bar. (Example PDQ food stores just purchased 2 pavers one for the bar and on for the Restaurant, What they will say is PDQ FOOD  STORES 100% Employee Owned) I also know Millers Grocery Store has purchased a paver already along with many others. There are many different sizes of pavers to choice from.  The fire department has already received a donation to help pay for the water rescue equipment. So why not help those hard working people that support the community ever day to keep us safe.
Small $60.00
Medium $80.00
Large $125.00
Specialty Pavers $325.00 ( There is 2 left at Fire House Bar and Grill and 7 left at the Spring Garden Family Restaurant)

About a dozen families gathered today at the Fire Department to make Valentine Day cards for the residents at Ingleside Nursing Home.  The kids spent a couple hours cutting up paper, gluing and using glitter to decorate them!  Within each card, a message was written.  After making the cards, we loaded up the kids and went over to Ingleside.  Seeing the smiles on the faces of the residents was something special!  Please enjoy the posted pictures!
