INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Mount Horeb Area Joint Fire Department(MHAJFD) is offering the opportunity to become part of our local community learning alongside the men and women of F.D.M.H.
The program is intended to offer first-hand experience in the profession of firefighting and emergency medical services.
WHAT OUR PROGRAM PROVIDES
Designed to prepare ambitious young adults for a career as a firefighter/EMT
Earn a 2 year degree in Fire Science from Madison Area Technical College (Madison College)
Become certified in Fire and Emergency Medical Services by the conclusion of your internship
Receive a monthly expense reimbursement and monetary assistance for tuition and books
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must thoroughly complete all application materials before the stated deadline.
Intern application process begins each December.
The candidate must have applied to or be enrolled in the Fire Associate's Degree at Madison College.
The candidate must be able to meet all physical requirements as specific by the MHAJFD
